Vi har mottatt en rekke hilsener og omtanke fra kollegaer i utland og legger disse ut fortløpende her.
We send you our very deepest condolences for the innocent lives that were lost in Norway last week. We, like all people in the world, were most terribly shocked by this outrageous and totally senseless act of violence. Our hearts and minds are with the Norwegian people and we pray that the families who lost their loved ones are given strength and solidarity at this difficult time.
We have a full faith in the people and government of Norway that it will overcome this difficult time with wisdom and courage. We stand by Norway at this time and we will do all we can to continue working with you all so that no further human lives are lost. This will be our tribute to the many who left us last Friday that the lives they lived will inspire us to work hard for peace wherever we are.
If it is needed, we are ready to arrange support from the specialists of the Russian Stress Center, who have a vast experience of helping members of the families of victims of terrorist acts. If necessary, these specialists are ready to fly to Norway immediately. Never hesitate to let us know.
Our hearts and minds are with you,
Vladimir Garkavenko and IPPNWRUS family

We are completely horrified and shocked by the tragedy in Norway and send you our love and prayers. Not only are the deaths and injuries tragic, but the effect on your wonderful open society may be very long lasting. I hope the authorities can get to the bottom of this very soon. My heart goes out to the doctors and care workers who have been dealing with the victims and their families. The suffering spreads to a wide circle. Please send our love and sympathy to colleagues and friends in Norway.

I'm still reeling from the unprecedented tragedy in Oslo and Utoeya. I can't find words to express my deepest sympathy to you, your family and all the people of Norway. It is especially hard to understand how a Christian, even a fundamentalist Christian, could carry out such a terrible atrocity on his own community. Perhaps, It helps to understand how fundamentalist Islamists do the same, but on a much larger scale.
In Peace,
Ron

We in Kenya join the rest of the IPPNW family and the entire Peace loving citizens of the World in wishing our Norwegian friends, colleagues and their families strength and God's healing at this most painful moment in their country.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you. The heartless murder of so many innocent young people is a painful reflection of the unstable human mind. We should now take their innocent blood as a sacrifice made so as to strengthen our resolve to rid the world of the unnecessary tools of violence.
We shall not waver in our pursuit for a peaceful world. Lets keep the peace flame burning!
We are with you in grief

Let me send you and to the Norwegian people from your colleagues in Nicaragua our words of sympathy and strong feelings of solidarity because of the terrible massacre of innocents in your country. The news coming from Norway on the weekend left us in shock in Latin America, with a common question of how can be explained a criminal act of violence like this in a country with the hi level of education, economical and social development as in Norway. For many people here this is a consequence of the promotion of exclusion, intolerance, xenophobia and racism. In moments of the worst economic and financial crisis in modern history the above is a lethal combination. A ideology like that was the prelude of the II World War and we can see worried how today some minorities in the rich countries in first place are moving toward neofacist conceptions. In any case, this is the worst answer to the world problems. Today the world is only one, with one civilization with a diversity of peoples and cultures who have rights, which in the 21 st century are all in danger, I hope that we all understand this on time to find the right route to the common survival in cooperation and balance among us all and with the nature.
Fortunately the unanimous answer of the Norwegian people for unity and against violence is massive as well from all the world
With my best regards
Antonio Jarquin, NICARAGUA

The IDPD expressed heart felt condolences to the bereaved families of terrorist violence in Norway. We express complete solidarity with the people of Norway who will boldly face this tragedy. Rising intolerance in the world is a cause of serious concern and a challenge before IPPNW.

It was heartbreaking to hear the news from Norway this weekend - even worse than all of the waves of sadness for the terrible suffering and tragic losses of the victims and their families and loved ones.
For me, the word "Norway" has always so powerfully resonated "peace" that I am feeling deeply disoriented. I hope that, after some period of healing starts to lessen the immediate severity of the pain and anguish, we can find ways for this tragedy to energize us more than
ever to work toward a more Schweitzer-spirited world anchored in a "Reverence for all Life".
But that's for later.
For now, just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
love,
Lachlan

Dear friends,
Please accept my sorrow and sympathy for the terrible carnage inflicted in Otoeya and Oslo.
I know no place and people who make a more positive and humane contribution to our shared global future and work more compassionately to prevent the terror of indiscriminate violence.
Please know that many friends around the world are thinking of you in our prayers and hearts at this awful time.
my deep condolences
